About Us
The directors of Kapruka New Zealand Ltd. Jayasena Widnagamage and Euvarani Jayasena migrated to New Zealand in 1996, about 14 years ago. Jayasena comes from a Commercial & Development Banking background. He was the former managing director of L B Finance Ltd. a reputed finance company in Sri Lanka which has been operating for more than 30 years. He was also a consultant at Post Graduate Institute of Management & initiated the Banking specialization stream for MBAs. Euvarani Jayasena has been a secondary teacher at Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa for over 22 years.
They are well established and well known among the New Zealand Sri Lankans in Auckland. Their son Chinthana is a graduate in Computer Systems Engineering from Auckland University & works for Barclays Capital in Singapore. Their daughter Suchethana is also an Auckland University graduate in Commerce & Law & works as a Tax Manager.
